Process

  1. The teacher will divide the class into groups of four and than randomly assign each student a role in their imaginary school.
  2. Each student, once assigned a role, will than click on the page with their roles name on it and read the sources that are provided. These will aid the student in coming up with their own set of rules and consequences.
  3. Than each student will decide what four rules they feel would be most important and than come up with a consequence that is appropriate for the rule that is broken.
  4. Once all the students in the group have decided on their schools rules, they will write them down on a piece of poster board that will be given to them. After each rule, the corresponding consequence should be written beneath it. You are allowed to have the same consequence for more than one rule, but not for all the rules.
  5. After the poster board is created the students will present the rules for their school in front of the class. Each student must present there set of four rules and four consequences to the class.
